Water jet cutting is a precise, low cost alternative to the traditional methods of die cutting, CNC machining, plasma arc cutting and laser cutting. The water jet utilizes a computer controlled, high speed stream of water at 1,700 MPH and 60,000 psi to cut materials as hard as titanium or as soft as foam within a +-0.005" tolerance.


Water jet cutting is often less expensive than other methods because AMP can work from customer CAD files. No costly dies or elaborate CNC programming is required. Atlantic Metal Products can produce an endless variety of products in an array of materials with water jet cutting including glass, stainless steel, high alloy nickel, marble and many others.
